Account Deletion – HerdID

Users can request deletion of their HerdID account and associated data.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request account deletion:

  1. Email: support@herdid.com
  2. Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include: The email address associated with your HerdID account

What Data Will Be Deleted

  • User account information
  • Horse ownership records linked to the account
  • Uploaded documents and images
  • Chat messages
  • Health and management records associated with the user

Data Retention

When an account is deleted, all personally identifiable information associated with the user is permanently removed.

Some financial records related to subscriptions may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.

Some anonymized and aggregated horse health records may be retained for research and machine learning purposes to improve veterinary insights and the HerdID platform.

This retained data cannot be used to identify the user or their horses.

Processing Time

Requests are processed within 7 days.
